Congratulations to Fr Edward

Congratulations to Fr Edward who has announced his appointment as Vicar for New Worshipping Communities in the Garth Ministry Area.  Edward will have pastoral oversight of the communities of Pentyrch, Capel Llanilltern and Groesfaen.  Fr Edward’s last Sunday here  will be August 11 when we will also have a Thankyou and Farewell celebration for Edward and Phillipa at St Paul’s after the Eucharist.

OMG! We built a house!

Last Sunday, our OMG! event for young people had a Walsingham vibe as we built two Holy Houses out of cardboard! Check out the video on You Tube!

Weekday Mass changes

We’ve been reviewing and reflecting on the pattern of daily prayer to offer a more cohesive and practical rhythm to each day and week across the whole Ministry Area.  The following Mass times will be effective from Monday August 12

Reviewing our Sunday Worship in Grangetown

We welcome you to give thoughtful consideration to the following suggestions so that we can grow together as a Ministry Area, make the most of our clergy, strengthen our worshipping life, and build community.

We know there are lots of personal preferences and issues but please also give consideration to the wider picture of the mission and ministry of our churches so that we can be a creative and resourceful community which is welcoming, faithful and just. Thank you for taking the time to be involved!

Pilgrim Prayer

Pilgrims from the Ministry Area are joining others from across South Wales for the Walsingham Pilgrimage from Monday July 22 – Thursday July 22. We pages for each day will be available soon on the Enter the Mystery website so that you can keep in touch with all that’s happening day by day! If you’d like us to make any particular prayers, light candles or lamps, then please get in touch.

St Paul’s Summer Fete

Don’t forget it’s St Paul’s Summer Fete on Saturday 20th July at 12 noon with an array of stalls, bargains and fun activities. Come and join in the fun!
