Harvest Celebrations

Thank you to everyone who made offerings for Cardiff Foodbank for our Harvest Thanksgiving. Our celebrations continue with two great Harvest Lunches, as well as School Harvest Celebrations.
The first is on Sunday October 20th at St Paul’s Church, and Saturday November 2 at Ss Dyfrig and Samson Church (£12 adults/ £6 children) Please get in touch with Cheryl at St Paul’s or Kath at Ss Dyfrig and Samson to find out more and book your seat at the table!
We also welcome St Paul’s Primary School for their Harvest Celebrations at St Paul’s Church at 1.30pm on Wednesday 9 October. They are also collecting items for Cardiff Foodbank
MacMillan Coffee Mornings

Thank you to all who have taken part in the Coffee Mornings at St Paul’s, St Mary’s and St Saviour’s over the last few weeks, as we raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The next Coffee Mornings take place after Mass on Sunday October 13 at Ss Dyfrig and Samson
Archdeacon’s Visitation
On Saturday October 19, members of the Ministry Area Council will be taking part in the Archdeacon’s Visitation at Citizen Church, Cardiff
Homelessness Memorial Service
Working together with Ty Gobaith and The Choir with No Name, there will be a Memorial Service for those who have died when homeless. This will take place on Wednesday November 24 at 3pm
St Paul’s School celebrates
Each week, a different class from School celebrates Mass in church. This Wednesday is the first while School Mass of the new School year. It begins at 10am and all are welcome. Why not come and join us?
Lord Mayor’s Memorial Service
On Tuesday October 22, a Memorial Service for the Lord Mayor will take place at Llandaff Cathedral. An invitation is extended to Jane’s friends so if you would like to attend then please speak to Fr Dean or Glyn Perryman who will be able to RSVP on your behalf.
Playlist for Life
Over two decades of scientific research has shown that listening to a personalised playlist can improve the lives of those living with dementia. In fact, listening to music that is personally meaningful has many psychological benefits, meaning anyone can benefit from a playlist.
Playlist for Life is a music and dementia charity, founded by writer and broadcaster Sally Magnusson after the death of her mother who had dementia. Their vision is simple: for everyone with dementia to have a unique, personalised playlist and everyone who loves or cares for them to know how to use it.
