When we are ill, we may experience physical pain or emotional worries. We may be worried about the future, or feel helpless or lost. We are here for you.
Bible Reading
Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and curing every disease and every sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. (Matthew 9:35-37)
Prayer
Lord Jesus,
I place myself into your loving embrace.
Please grant me patience and strength.
When I am alone, may I feel your presence.
When I am afraid, give me comfort.
When I am dejected, give me hope.
When I feel lost,
let me find my way to you.
In your wounds may I find healing.
Through your pain,
may I know your power to save. Amen.
