Community Spaces

We have some great Community Spaces available for hire, and which we also use for our own community and social activities.

Hospitality and welcome is important to us. There is usually tea and coffee after Sunday Mass, and various other social times together through the week and the year.

Get in touch if you’d like to enquire about hiring any of our spaces or if you have ideas about activities which can strengthen and support the local community. There may be the possibility of us working together!

Costs for private hire are available on request, and vary according to the purpose of the activity.

St Paul’s Community Hall

This is a light and spacious hall, with modern fittings and a large, well equipped kitchen. It is used regularly by various groups throughout the week.

The hall is also home to St Paul’s congregation which uses a separate part of the Hall for worship. There is a monthly coffee morning on Saturday mornings which raises money for a different charity each time.

If you would like to make enquiries about hiring St Paul’s Church Hall whether as a one-off event or more regularly then please complete the form below, giving as much information as possible

St Saviour’s Church Hall

This is situated within the church building and is used regularly by the church for coffee and refreshments, social occasions and celebrations and for two sessions of Cardiff Foodbank (on a Wednesday afternoon and Thursday evening).

Although we have great plans to redevelop the Hall, we are keen to continue to use it for activities which benefit the community. Our weekly coffee morning (after the 10 am Mass on Friday) is a lovely time for people to get together and catch up with one another. We also run two Foodbank Sessions from the hall.

St Mary’s

We have a small meeting space which we also use for coffee and refreshments, as well as church and community meetings.

Of all the community spaces available across the Ministry Area this is the smallest but it has a functioning and well equipped kitchen and can accommodate up to 30 people.

The Old Vestry @ St Mary’s

Situated at the site of St Mary’s Church, this is the home of Women Seeking Sanctuary Advocacy Group (WSSAG) which organises it’s own activities and events for its service users. You can check out all they do here:

Outdoor Spaces

Some of our churches have great outdoor spaces which we love to use. There are some opportunities for community involvement as we develop some of these spaces.
