Anniversary of Baptism

In Baptism we have been filled with the light of Christ. May we walk always as children of the Light and keep the flame of faith alive in our hearts.

Jesus asked the twelve, ‘Do you also wish to go away?’ Simon Peter answered him, ‘Lord, to whom can we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and know that you are the Holy One of God  (John 6:67-68)

Thanks be to you, my Lord Jesus Christ,
for all the benefits you have given me,
for all the pains and insults you have borne for me.
O most merciful Redeemer, Friend and Brother,
may I know you more clearly,
love you more dearly,
and follow you more nearly, day by day. Amen.
(Prayer of St Richard of Chichester)
