Being a godparent is is a wonderful privilege as we promise to help our godchild grow in the Christian Faith, as we pray that they will ‘walk in the light and keep the flame of faith alive in their heart.’

Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belong.’ (Matthew 19:14)
Prayer
Loving God,
I pray for my godchild...
who has now become
a member of Christ,
a Child of God,
and an inheritor of the Kingdom of Heaven.
May I help them to
know you more clearly,
love you more dearly
and follow you more nearly
day by day. Amen.

- Help your godchild to grow up to know and love God within the family of the church
- Pray for them and with them
- Celebrate their anniversary of Baptism each year—just like a birthday!
- Join us during the Easter season for our godparents celebration
