Student Days

Beginning life in further education can be both an exciting and nervous time, especially if moving away from home. Our prayer is that you will have an amazing time, full of happiness, friendship and learning
 

Bible Reading

For learning about wisdom and instruction, for understanding words of insight,for gaining instruction in wise dealing, righteousness, justice, and equity;  to teach shrewdness to the simple, knowledge and prudence to the young—let the wise also hear and gain in learning, and the discerning acquire skill,to understand a proverb and a figure, the words of the wise and their riddles. (Proverbs 1:1-6)

Prayer

I bless you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth
for your goodness to us and all your people.
I rejoice in the gifts you have given to me.
Bless me as I prepare
to leave for college/university.
May my time there be enjoyable and fulfilling.
Protect me with your love,
strengthen me with your Spirit
and guide me to make the right decisions
for the way of life I have received in Christ.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen .

• You can ask for a Blessing and prayers at any time or light a candle and know that God is always with you
• If you’re moving away from home, we can help you find a local church .
