Children and young people play a full part in our life together.
Through the Sunday celebrations of Mass, our monthly OMG! events, and many other activities and occasions throughout the year, there’s always something on offer!

OMG!
OMG! is a monthly gathering for young people when we enjoy a time of prayer and worship together, and there is always food.
In October, it was a treat from the Chippy! Check out our OMG! Event from October in this video:
Sunday Morning

On most Sundays at the celebration of Mass, children of Primary School age are invited to participate in their own Liturgy of the Word, returning to gather with the wider community for the Eucharist.
It’s a time of prayer and fun activities, and they usually have something to share and show at the end of Mass!
Older children and young people are also able to participate in the celebrations in a number of different ways, from altar serving to reading…amongst many other things!

Walsingham Youth Pilgrimage
The Youth Pilgrimage is a week of lively worship, teaching, fellowship and fun for 11-18 year olds.
The traditional pilgrimage devotions are presented in an upbeat, lively and enjoyable way which makes them relevant for our young people in today’s world. Over 500 young people gather in Walsingham for the week from all over the UK and internationally, giving them a chance to meet other Christians and explore their faith in a safe environment. Over the years it has changed the lives of countless young people who have never forgotten their week in Walsingham and many of them have come to love the Shrine and to make the pilgrimage ever since.
The 2024 pilgrimage takes place from Monday 5th to Friday 9th August. More details available in January. In the meantime check out the 2023 highlights:
Baptism and Confirmation
All who are baptised are welcome to receive Holy Communion.
