Fr Richard’s Screen Test
Some of us think it is just a tax loophole, but Fr Richard’s recent visit to the cinema to see the animated movie about King David got him thinking!
Check him out on Instagram and Facebook (so he can claim his cinema entry against his tax!) 😜
Glastonbury Pilgrimage
There is a bus from St Mary’s if you’d like to join the pilgrimage on Saturday September 5th. Get in touch to book your seat!

Back to School
The summer holidays are almost over and our children and young people will be returning to school next week.
At each of our Masses on Sunday, we will be blessing all students and all involved in education.

School Uniform
It’s the last week of the school holidays and so the last week of our school uniform exchange!
Come along on Sunday to pick up all you need for the new term…..

St Mary’s Patronal Festival
On Sunday September 6th, we’ll also be celebrating St Mary’s Patronal festival (on the nearest Sunday to the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary)

St Saviour’s Patronal Festival
We celebrate the Patronal of the Church of the Holy Saviour )on the nearest Sunday to the Feast of the Holy Cross) on Sunday 13 September. All welcome!

Interfaith visits
Would you like to find out more about our local synagogue and mosque?
People from our churches have been invited to pay a visit to both during October. On Saturday 10 October, we’ve been invited to join the Cardiff Reform Synagogue in Moira Terrace for their Shabbat service at 10.30am, which lasts for an hour and a half.
The following Saturday, 17 October, we’ve been invited to visit the mosque in Clydach Street, Grangetown, at 10am, for an hour-long visit.
If you would like to come on either or both, please give your name to Fr Richard or sign the list in any church.
Eyes Down!
Get your dabbers ready! Every week, it’s a great night out!

The kettle’s on!
Many of our weekday Masses on the churches of the Ministry Area are followed by coffee and cake!

Daily Mass

Did you know that Mass is celebrated each day across the Ministry Area?
You’ll find the times below. On weekdays, the Mass is usually about 25 minutes long which, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday is usually followed by coffee.
Also, we publish daily reflections from the Mass online. Why not sign up to receive news and reflections in your inbox?
Dates for your diary
Here is the South Cardiff Calendar, with details of lots of upcoming events and activities across our Ministry Area. Make sure you put everything down in your diary so that you don’t miss anything!
