Prayer and worship is at the heart of all that we are and do, and the Eucharist is the source and summit of our life together.
We are also committed to helping people to deepen their faith, and grow in knowledge and love of God through meaningful encounters and active discipleship.
Out vision is to be a Faithful Community
Worship

We have a daily pattern of worship across the Ministry Area and we move to the rhythm of the Church’s year, celebrating all the feasts and festivals.
Whilst the Eucharist is at the heart of our life, there are many different ways in which we pray and worship together.
Christian Nurture

We’re on a journey together, supporting and helping one another to grow as followers of Christ.
We provide a number of opportunities to grow in the Christian Faith including our Bread of Life Course. During Lent we also provide time together for those preparing for Baptism and/or Confirmation at Easter, as well as a Lenten Course on a particular theme.
Young People

Our ministry to children and young people takes many shapes, and each Sunday celebration of Mass provides opportunities for participation and nurture.
In each of our churches is celebrated a Children’s Liturgy of the Word. Our monthly OMG! event provides a more relaxed occasion with prayer, worship and food. We also encourage and enable involvement in the Walsingham Youth Pilgrimage. We offer preparation for Christian Initiation for children and young people.
Prayer

Whenever we pray, alone or with others, we are always praying as part of a wider community.
We offer many different occasions for shared prayer as well as resources to enrich the prayer life of all.
We are slowly collating all our resources, and you’ll find some of them in our Day to Day resource.
Pilgrimage

We’re always on a journey! Pilgrimage is important to us and we provide many different kinds of pilgrimage experiences near and far.
We journey to the likes of Walsingham, Glastonbury, Penrhys, and Flat Holm, and we also have our PILGRIM project which resources visits to holy places across the “Llanscape” South Wales.
Life Events

There are so many different kinds of pastoral celebrations and encounters, and many life events which are significant.
This is often done through Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals but there are so many other opportunities. We aim to make the most of these in our life together from ‘Mothering Sunday’ to ‘Back to School’, from ‘November Requiems’ to Anniversaries and birthdays, as we offer prayers and rites for Life events.
Generosity and Giving

We give to God in so many different ways. Giving of our time and talents is important, but we are also called to make financial offerings as part of our discipleship.
Each person has something different to offer, but all can offer something with generosity and thankfulness. As we grow as a Ministry Area we are reviewing and developing our resources for Giving and will be rolling them out soon so that we can be a generous community.
